As one of my teachers always said,

“The Only Way Out, Is In.”

Hello! I'm Zoe.
I moved to California in 2021 with big hopes—and a freshly torn rotator cuff trying to hold me back.

Doctors told me my injury would likely limit my mobility and cause chronic discomfort for the rest of my life. But that wasn’t a future I was willing to accept.

So I began exploring strength and flexibility—the two main ingredients in the injury-prevention cake. I started training in aerial silks, slowly rebuilding strength in my damaged shoulder. It was challenging, often painful, but the rewards were life-changing.

While training at a local circus center, I met my first contortion instructor. That’s when things really started to transform. My strength and flexibility skyrocketed, and I developed a deeply personal relationship with my body—one I never knew was possible. I quickly learned that strength without flexibility (and vice versa) just doesn’t cut it.

That realization naturally led me to yoga. As someone who traveled often for work, yoga became a consistent and accessible practice for me across the country. I fell in love with the culture, the community, and the way the practice could be tailored to meet me exactly where I was—every single time.

My journey—from injured and immobile to strong, flexible, and deeply in tune with my body—is one I’m passionate about helping others experience for themselves; the journey out of your limitations, by going deeper into yourself. I found a way to reclaim my life and prevent future injuries. In the process, I discovered a version of myself that feels better than ever before.

Yoga Education

I began practicing yoga, in person, at a beautiful studio in Austin, TX while I was travelling for work. I continued practicing while travelling the country, learning from amazing teachers everywhere that I went.

After months of my yoga journey, I realized that I was on a path to becoming a yoga teacher; I was absolutely loving my yoga practice. At this time, a good friend recommended to me the ISSA Online 200 HR YTT. This program was incredible educational, and, I was so grateful that it could work with my busy lifestyle.

I finished my yoga teacher certification in March of 2025. I am a registered Yoga Alliance instructor.
